Landrover extends range with XTC.
To support a marketing event in the midlands, XTC were contracted to improve
radio communications between staff support vehicles and a central reception
area. Following a survey of the prescribed driving area, XTC installed repeater
technology to provide reliable radio communications over the 50 square mile
area. Landrover owned transceivers and a number of XTC units were reprogrammed
to harmonise with the repeater resulting in rock solid communications between
vehicle mobiles and handheld portables.

XTC helped make the occasion for the Hayling Island
branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute annual dinner held recently in
the prodigious new clubhouse at Hayling Island Sailing Club. XTC provided professional
facilities including:- staging, a lectern, a fibre optic backdrop curtain,
camera with live video projection, mood and disco lighting, sound reinforcement,
A/V mixing, and a disco. The 150 guests were entertained by a series of amusing
award presentations to the crew members before floating onto the dance floor.
